As a female coach or course creator, an excellent way to make more money is to monetize your TikTok account.
TikTok is a gold mine. And if you optimize your TikTok account by taking the necessary steps, you too can make some money on the social media app.
After merging with the United States musical.ly in august 2018, TikTok quickly reached 1 billion active monthly users in 2022. Your audience is definitely on TikTok, and you have to take advantage of these numbers.
In this article, I’ll be taking you through four practical tips on how you can make your TikTok a source of income in 2022.
Let’s get right into it.
Offer Consultations
As a course creator, you can offer consultation sessions to the wealth of users on the platform to gain more customers for your business.
Many of your audience may not benefit from the general sessions or webinars you offer. You can capitalize on this and offer one-on-one consultations tailored to cater to their specific issues.
This is a win-win situation because your audience will get more value and also feel more connected to you. It’s a great way to build audience loyalty and trust while making money.
Sell Your Courses
You can sell your courses on TikTok with ease! There are several ways to do this, and the best part about it is that it feels really natural on TikTok! Some of the ways to sell your courses on TikTok are:
- Link in Bio: add the link to your course in your bio and direct people to click and purchase in your videos
- Livestream: going live and talking about your course with your audience is a great way to spark their interest and get them to purchase.
- In the comments: share the link to your course in the comment section of your videos to make it easy for people to click.
- Add a catchy CTA in your video: a great CTA will attract people to watch your video and push them to click.
You can make all the sales go on the TikTok account. Also, you can decide to direct sales to your website. I talk more about this in this video.
Partner with a brand.
Brands are constantly looking for content creators who have organic followers on TikTok. Organic followers interact genuinely with the content creator’s post and are likely to trust the content creator. So if this is you, you might be on your way to monetizing your TikTok account.
A good sign of fake followers on any social media platform is engagement, and brands can always tell. You’ll see an account with, let’s say, 5000 followers but only has a few likes on their content. Such a creator won’t attract any serious brand.
The first thing you should do is contact brands that may be a good fit for the kind of courses or consultations you provide. Although the chances of a response are not always high, it is worth giving a try.
If you have many followers and engagement on your account, it might spark the company’s interest and make them want to partner with you.
Make sure that you’re looking for companies whose products align with the kind of content you create, as your audience can always tell when collaboration is forced and not authentic.
Go live
Going live and speaking about your consultations and courses is an excellent way to monetize your TikTok. What’s more? Your audience can give you virtual gifts that can be converted to money when you go live.
You get to engage your audience closely, answer their questions, and share links to your courses and consultations.
To get the best out of going live, follow these tips;
- Post short videos while you’re going live: When you post short videos, users will find a link within the post, making it easier to join the live stream.
- Use your analytics tab to find the right time to go live. This improves the chances of you having lots of your fans viewing. And if that’s not enough, you should stay online for longer.
Following these practical steps is great, but making a good amount of money on TikTok requires more effort and consistency. You can begin your journey with my Monetize the Tok course to see how I grew my followers and consistently make a living off TikTok.
