Are you still struggling to organize content with a variety of topics and types of forms to upload to your social media? With the variety of forms, you may get overwhelmed especially if you focus on growing your business on every social media that you have. The incredible news is that you can repurpose your content into a whole different thing for different social media platforms. Today I am going to share with you my Explode Method that takes one piece of content and redistributes it in multiple ways.
What I mean with the Explode Method basically, is where you’re taking one thing you do and you’re exploding it in so many different places. Let’s say you have YouTube video content, you can turn it into a podcast, an article blog, a short-form video, a carousel, or even a thread. With this technique, you can grow your online business and make money using social media. I’m going to tell you exactly how I do it. Let’s get started with 6 Ways To Repurpose Content!
1. YouTube
The very first step in my Explode Method is to shoot a vertical long-form video that I would post on my YouTube platform. You can also use any platform to upload your long-form content videos. After I film the vertical long-form video to repurpose it, I’m going to use Riverside.
Riverside is a crucial tool in this step, going to make a transcription to my vertical long-form video. Not only that, Riverside also makes the keywords from the video, notes, and descriptions for my YouTube Content and all I’m going to do is upload the video into Riverside. Do you see how easy it is? All you have to do is film the content and upload it to Riverside. Now I am ready to post material for YouTube after I edited my video on CapCut.
2. Article
The best way to repurpose your long-form video is to turn it into an article blog. But the problem is, that you do not have time for all of those articles for your website or LinkedIn post. Here when you need your transcriptions that you got.
You can use several ways to turn the transcription into an article blog. The easiest way is to ask ChatGPT. You just have to upload the transcription, upload it to ChatGPT, and ask it to make you an outline of the blog. You can revise that as you like, and then you can make a whole article blog with the help of ChatGPT.
3. Vertical Videos
You don’t have to worry if you have enough content to upload to your social media post after using this method. After filming a vertical long-form video for my YouTube, I can turn it into a bunch of vertical short videos. How can it be possible?
The only thing I do to change my vertical long-form video into several horizontal short videos is to use Opus. Have you ever watched a podcast video in Instagram reels or TikTok that has a vertical layout with a text subtitle in it? That’s what Opus does and turns one video into 10 potential viral videos. Now you can put them on Facebook reels, Instagram reels, YouTube shorts, Pinterest Idea, TikTok, LinkedIn shorts and you can put them on threads.
4. Podcast
Some people like to watch, some people like to read and for some people, a podcast is a ‘go to’ content that they would listen to while doing certain things. It’s very common for a content creator to create a podcast from their YouTube video. That’s why you need a tool that allows you to create a lot of things just using one tool.
Ecamm Live is my ‘go-to’ tool. I use Ecamm Live to film my YouTube content. The exciting part is when I exported the video, it also gave me the audio file. Now I have a whole podcast episode that’s ready to upload. How could that be more efficient?
5. Carousel
When it comes to carousel, you can be more creative and choose several topics from one long-form video. People on social media like to read a short text with a good visual. With a carousel, you can make a different carousel that can go to several social media platforms.
The important thing is to make a key point based on your long-form content and make it into a several-carousel idea. Use a simple visual and add a call to action at the end of your carousel.
6. Threads
Now you have all the content for your social media, but if you want more content ideas, you can also make a thread to repurpose your content. To repurpose content to a thread is very easy because you have already created an article blog from the transcription that you got on Riverside using Chat GPT. Now you are going to do the same thing with the threads.
After you get your threads from Chat GPT you have to revise based on your style and preferences. Therefore you get more inspiration to repurpose your content and all you have to do is refine the output.
Now you have everything in your hand. From one long-form video, you can create a whole week of content supply for every social media platform that you have. The last thing you want to do is schedule your content so you have a neat schedule for every post on social media. Of course, you don’t have to manually do that for those varieties of your content. My all-time favorite scheduler software for my social media platforms is MetriCool. You can just put your content and it will be scheduled on every social media platform that you have. See? How cool is that? So the next time that you are thinking about creating content, instead of trying to do a million and one thing, think about one thing.
